Nerves pt.7

Happy Tuesday one and all. Hope you are all having/had a fantastic day. Thank you for all baring with me while I’ve been sick but I’m happy to report that I’m feeling better with each passing day. Better enough, in fact, to finally write the next installment of Nerves. Continue reading

Sunday Funday: Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!! I hope your day has been filled with light, peace, love and happiness. Also a fair amount of chocolate ;p
giphyBare bones Sunday Funday this week. (I know I’ve said it before but I mean it this time.) I have spent the week in bed sick. The crud that I contracted last weekend quickly morphed into walking pneumonia and let me tell ya, it has not been a fun ride. I cannot even begin to tell you how ready I am to be over this stuff and back to my normal, perky, on-the-go self.

I apologize for not posting any new installments this week. My sick riddled brain wouldn’t allow me to write much of anything, let alone continue on with the story. But don’t worry, Lily and Finn are impatiently waiting and ready to duke it out, so I promise to have at least two for you guys this week.

So Friday marks the first day of CampNaNo and I am desperately trying not to freak out. However, losing a one week’s worth of prep is not making me feel very confident heading into this challenge. Oh well, we’ll see how it goes…Unrung Bell is all about overcoming obstacles so maybe the events leading up to Camp are the perfect setup to finish off this story. (How’d you guess like the spin I put on that, huh? :p)
Reading: I’ve actually been too sick to read this week so there really isn’t anything to add here.

Watching: Thanks to the persistent nagging glowing recommendation of Holly, I finally started watching Lucifer. All I can say is, ‘WOW!’ What was I waiting for? This show is witty, fresh and highly entertaining. Each episode just keeps getting better and better and its only nine episodes into the season. Also, two words: Tom Ellis.
Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar. Also, started watching Daredevil but kept falling asleep. Gonna have to watch it when I’m not sick and can pay attention but definitely seems like something I will enjoy in the near future.

Random Facts
*I can’t do a cartwheel.
*Tomato soup and grilled cheese is my ultimate comfort food.
*Besides being my all-time favorite movie, The Princess Bride is my favorite “sick movie”.

What is your favorite Easter candy? I love Robin’s eggs and Cadbury caramel eggs.

Writing Bucket List

My friend Jessica tagged me to come up with my Writing Bucket List. Go check out her blog, Little Siberia, and give her a follow on Twitter if you don’t already. It’s worth it, believe me. It seemed like it would be a pretty simple thing to create—boy was I wrong. It’s like being given the whole toy store to choose from and having no idea where to start. But I gave it my best shot and this is what I was able to come up with. Continue reading

Monday Funday Musings

Thanks in part to the extreme 60 degree temperature swing experienced over the later half of the week and the yellow blanket that has been draped over the land, I woke up yesterday with a sore throat which has since morphed into a severe cold. Hooray for spring! (I would blame my two nephews since they were both sick with the crud but let’s face it, they’re just too stinking cute for that.) Continue reading

Nerves 6b

This is a little late getting posted, I apologize. Things have been a little hectic today with family set to arrive at any moment. This portion is hot off the presses and has only gone through quick read through, so please pardon any errors. We pick up the story right where we left off in 6a. If you haven’t read that installment or the previous ones, then you might want to go do that first. (Start here) Continue reading
